Cómo Convertir

Convierte cualquier archivo en segundos — sin software, sin registro.

01
Enter Your Content

Type or paste a URL, plain text, email address (mailto:), or phone number (tel:) into the input field.

02
Choose Size & Level

Select output size (128px–2048px) and error correction level (L/M/Q/H). Higher error correction is more resilient to damage.

03
Download QR Code

Your QR code renders as a high-quality PNG or vector SVG ready for print, signage, or digital use.

Preguntas Frecuentes

Todo lo que necesitas saber sobre esta herramienta de conversión.

Any UTF-8 text up to ~2900 characters, including URLs, plain text, email addresses (mailto:), phone numbers (tel:), SMS messages (smsto:), and Wi-Fi credentials (WIFI:).

L (Low, 7%) produces the smallest QR code. H (High, 30%) is larger but remains scannable even if nearly a third of the code is damaged — ideal for stickers, outdoor signs, or logos overlaid in the centre.

For business cards use 1024px minimum. For posters or large signs use 2048px SVG output for crisp infinite-scale printing. The QR code module size should be at least 1cm square in print.

Yes — download the SVG or high-res PNG and overlay your logo in Figma, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Use H-level error correction (30%) to ensure scanning works even with a logo covering part of the code.

No. The QR code we generate encodes the content directly — there is no redirect URL and nothing to expire. The code is valid forever as long as the destination (URL, phone number) remains active.

None. No watermarks, no scan limits, no expiry dates, no account required. You can generate as many QR codes as you need completely free.

QR Codes: How They Work, Error Correction, and Best Practices

QR codes have become one of the most ubiquitous information-transfer technologies in the world. Understanding how they work, how to choose the right settings, and how to use them effectively helps you deploy them with confidence.

How QR Codes Store and Encode Data

QR (Quick Response) codes use a 2D matrix of black and white modules to encode data. Data is first converted to a numeric, alphanumeric, or binary byte stream, then encoded using Reed-Solomon error correction, and finally arranged in a specific matrix pattern. Three finder patterns (the square "eyes" in three corners) allow scanners to detect the code's orientation and perspective. The data capacity depends on the QR version (1–40) and error correction level.

Error Correction Levels Explained

QR codes use Reed-Solomon error correction to remain scannable even when partially damaged or obscured. Level L (7% recovery) produces the smallest code and is fine for clean digital display. Level M (15%) is the standard for most uses. Level Q (25%) is good for industrial labels where minor damage is likely. Level H (30%) is required when you plan to overlay a logo or icon in the centre of the code — the high redundancy compensates for the covered modules.

PNG vs SVG: Choosing the Right Output Format

Use PNG for digital display at a fixed size (website, email, app screens). Use SVG for anything that will be printed or scaled — business cards, banners, packaging, signage. SVG is a vector format that renders perfectly at any size without pixelation. When printing, always use SVG or a PNG at minimum 1000×1000 px to ensure each module is sharp at the printed size.

Adding a Logo to the Centre of a QR Code

A logo overlay covering up to 30% of the QR code is safe if you use H-level error correction, because H-level can recover from 30% data loss. Download the high-res PNG or SVG, open it in Figma or Photoshop, and place your logo centred on the code, scaled to cover no more than 25–30% of the total area. Always scan-test the result before printing — some scanner apps are stricter than others.

QR Code Best Practices for Print and Signage

Minimum module size for reliable scanning is 1cm for the smallest module at typical scan distances (20–30cm). For outdoor signage scanned from 1–2m away, scale up proportionally — at 2m scanning distance, each module should be at least 4mm. Always maintain a quiet zone (white border) of at least 4 modules on all sides — QR codes printed without adequate margin fail to scan reliably. Use high-contrast black on white; avoid coloured modules unless scan-tested thoroughly.
